MAKE AN IMPACT
Your efforts can make
a big impact
Create tangible impact with every single kilometre you cover and every dollar you raise is directly transformed into life-changing assistance. Whether you are swimming laps, hiking trails, or cycling through your neighborhood, your efforts ensure that Variety can continue providing essential support to children and families navigating illness, disadvantage, or disability. Together, we aren't just hitting fitness targets; we are creating a legacy of inclusion and joy that fosters lasting change for the kids who need it most. Join the movement this May and turn your personal best into a brighter future.
YOUR IMPACT
How you're helping
children like Charli
Charli is a bright and happy 9 year old who was diagnosed with spastic/dystonic quadriplegic cerebral palsy at 12 months. Her condition means she will require lifelong support for her complex needs.
Charli is quite limited in where she can go when she leaves the house so being included in everyday childhood experiences has always been a challenge.
“She already feels segregated from the community because of her disability so seeing her constantly missing out is really tough,” shares her mum, Cassandra.
It's thanks to supporters like you that Variety NSW/ACT was able to grant Charli an all-terrain beach wheelchair.
“Inclusion is everything,” says Cassandra. “When your child can’t join in, they do feel different. The all-terrain beach wheelchair has opened up Charli’s world. It gives her freedom and fun with her friends and her family. That’s life-changing.”
