Raffle for Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT (“Variety”)

• Information provided by Variety on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the person whose name is completed on the ticket or the person identified as a gift recipient.
• Where a ticket in the competition is purchased as a gift for and/or on behalf of another person (gift recipient), the purchaser of the ticket is deemed to be acting as an agent for the gift recipient and the gift recipient will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
• These terms and conditions apply to all entries into and/or prizes in the competition.
• All proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated to Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT. Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the person whose name is completed on the ticket or the person identified as a gift recipient.

This raffle is conducted in compliance with the NSW Community Gaming Regulation (2018) and all related laws. ACT Permit No: ACT R 25/00227

Raffle Start Date: 7 November 2025

Raffle Close Date:  7 January 2026 at 12:00 PM (AEDT)

Draw Date and Time: 7 January at 14:00 PM (AEDT)

Draw Location: Variety NSW/ACT Office located in Suite 1, Level 2, 44 Hampden Road, Artarmon, NSW, 2064, Australia. 

• Entry is open to all permanent residents of ACT, NSW, QLD, NT and TAS, aged 18 years or older.
• Employees, directors, agents, and their immediate family members of Variety – the Children’s Charity and Spencer Travel are not eligible to enter this raffle. Immediate families include a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, stepchild, parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or step-sibling of an employee of Variety - the Children's Charity and Spencer Travel.
• Cost of entry: $30
• To enter, participants must purchase a ticket online via the link:

• purchase a raffle ticket/s online via link;
• and provide their contact details (first name, last name, residential address, valid email address and mobile phone number) in the section provided.
• Variety will issue an e-ticket for each ticket purchased, which may be printed by the recipient, together with the ticket receipt. No paper tickets will be issued.
• No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete, or in the event someone enters their details incorrectly, incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.
• Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT, in its sole discretion and subject to any prohibition by law to do so or any written direction from a regulatory authority, may cancel a Competition at any time or disqualify an entrant. Entries that are not genuine or are incomplete, late or in any way fraudulent or deemed to be inappropriate or unacceptable for any reason by The Promoter will be declared void.

The winner may choose one (1) of the following prizes:

Option 1: Trip to Santa’s Village in Finland

Return economy airfares to Finland for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children under 16).

Accommodation and select activities at Santa’s Village.

Prize Value (approximate): AUD 30,000.

Option 2: Northern Lights Cruise for Two Adults

Return economy airfares to Norway, departing Finland for two adults.

Cruise accommodation, including select activities and excursions.

Prize Value (approximate): AUD 30,000.

• Total prize value (approximate): AUD 30,000.
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or alternative forms of compensation.
• Winners must depart from Sydney or Melbourne. Departure from other cities will be at the expenses of the winner.
• It is the responsibility of the winner to book the travel through Spencer Travel Holdings Pty Ltd and completed by 31 January 2027, subject to availability and blackout dates.
• The promoter will not be held liable for any loss, costs, or damages arising from travel restrictions within Australia or internationally that may impact attendance or participation in the redemption of the prize. This includes but is not limited to: Passports, visas, insurance, meals, spending money, cancellations or variations to excursions or other personal expenses.
• The organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value, if necessary, due to circumstances beyond its control. 
• The organiser’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
• Viewing of the Northern Lights is most likely during the month of December and January, however the travel period is at the prize winner’s discretion and subject to availability. There is no guarantee that the Northern Lights will be visible at the time of travel chosen by the winner.

Winners will be determined by a random draw, conducted at the specified time and location under transparent conditions.

Notification Timeline: Winners will be notified via email, phone, and/or social media within two (2) business days of the draw. Their names will also be published on:

• Variety Website 
• Other promotional platforms no later than seven (7) days after the draw.
• Variety reserves the right to request the winner to submit proof of identify, at the discretion of Variety, and their ticket receipt as proof of purchase.
• Variety will not enter into any correspondence regarding the competition result.

• Winners must provide proof of eligibility (e.g., age and address) before claiming their prize.
• The prize must be accepted as specified. If a winner does not claim their prize by the deadline, the prize will be forfeited and no cash alternative will be awarded.
• Prizes are subject to additional supplier terms and conditions (e.g., airlines, accommodation providers).

If the prize is not claimed by the winner within 3 months of the draw date, despite reasonable  efforts by the Promoter to contact them, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw will be conducted on 7 April 2026 at Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the promoter is not responsible for:

• Any loss, damage, or injury arising directly or indirectly from participation or prize use.
• Changes, delays, cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances caused by third-party suppliers.
• Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and is the responsibility of the winner.

• By entering the raffle, you consent to Variety using your personal information to send you information about Variety's news, events, products, services and general information about Variety, including by email, text messages and phone calls.
• Personal information collected will only be used for raffle administration and winner notification.
• All personal information will be handled in accordance with Variety’s Privacy Policy.

The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the raffle for unavoidable reasons, subject to approval by NSW authorities.
