The Variety Mini Bash is back in 2025!

Want a bite sized version of a Variety Bash? Our Mini Bash is the perfect opportunity for new and experienced Bashers to get a taste of the action.

Whether you’re getting your Bash car back on the road or your family car covered in dust, join us for the 2025 Variety Mini Bash.

Where are we going?

The 2025 Variety Mini Bash is a Mini Bash like no other. For the first time, we’re heading south, setting up base in Mittagong and exploring the unreal landscapes of the Southern Highlands.

On Day 1 we begin in the historic town of Mittagong, before setting off to explore the back roads of the highlands with lunch in the small village of Laggan. After lunch, we’ll track down the scenic cliff sided Wombeyan Caves Road, check out the Wollondilly Lookout and venture through the Bullio Road tunnel, before finishing our day back in Mittagong.

Day 2 will head north from Mittagong, adventuring through the outskirts of Western Sydney and into the Hawkesbury for some epic dirt tracks and a ferry crossing into Wisemans Ferry where our journey will end with lunch at the historic Wisemans Inn Hotel.

Who can join?

The Variety Mini Bash is for anyone and everyone!

We love to see as many new faces as possible on our Mini events, and in 2025 it’s no different.

Bring your kids, your parents, your friends, your nephews and nieces. There will be something for the whole family on our weekend away exploring the Southern Highlands.

How much will it cost?

Adults: $160.00 per person
Kids 10-17 years old: $50 per child
Kids under 10 years old: Free

All registrations will receive a tax deductible receipt. Meals are not included in the event pricing and will be payable directly to each venue on the day.

Hear from our Mini Bashers

"The Variety Mini Bash was an amazing experieince. The roads were great fun to drive and we went through areas I'd never have discovered on my own. It was the perfect getaway with just the right blend of challenge and adventure — all without needing to take too much time off work."

Myles

"As Variety Bash entrants, we love bringing our nephews on the Mini Bash to show them what it’s like on the big event – and we’re pretty sure they are future Bashers in the making! It’s also a great excuse to give our Bash car a test run before the big event in May, with the route using dirt roads and back lanes just like the Bash, plus catch up with our Variety friends."
