The Variety Mini Bash is back in 2024!
Newcastle – Krambach – Port Macquarie – Bulahdelah – Newcastle
Thinking about joining a Variety Bash but not sure what’s involved? Want to get your Bash car out of the shed for a run into the country?
The Variety Mini Bash is a family friendly weekend event based out of Newcastle. Kids are welcome (and encouraged!) to come along for a fun weekend away. You don’t need a Bash car … 4WDs, SUVs, family cars and utes are all welcome. Just like the Bash however, we do travel on dirt and gravel roads so your lowered sports car probably isn’t the best choice! Whatever vehicle you choose, it must have a working UHF transceiver tuned to channel 20 (supplied by you, can be handheld) and display our advertising door stickers (supplied by us).
In April 2024, we will be exploring the Upper Hunter and Mid North Coast areas, travelling through national parks, mountain roads and witnessing some beautiful scenery along the way.
We set the route for both days, taking you on remote roads and through parts of this region of NSW you didn’t know existed. We organise venues for our lunches and dinner and allow you to book your own accommodation in Port Macquarie based on your comfort requirements and budget. (See below for our suggested accommodation options.)
The Variety Mini Bash has raised in excess of $55,000 over the years to help kids and their families in need.
