After 12 months of growing her hair, Lucy is finally ready to give her hair the big chop!!
This will be Lucy’s 3rd hair cut ever!!!

year ago Lucy made the decision to help make a difference by donating her hair
to someone who needed it more than she did! After learning that cancer doesn’t
only affect big people, but little people too!! She set herself a goal to grow
her hair as long as she could and we have finally reached the required Length!
Variety- The Children’s Charity is a wonderful charity that provides wigs to children who have lost their hair due to Alopecia and medical conditions such as Cancer.
One specialised wig can cost up to $6,000 and only lasts 1-2years. This means that families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on wigs through out a child’s younger years.
By making a donation to Variety- The Children’s Charity, you can help provide things like wigs and or vital equipment to a child in need.
Lucy’s hair is currently down to her lower back, with the plan to donate a minimum of 36cms!! She won’t be getting it cut until the Easter school holidays, so it should be even longer by then! 🤞
In the mean time, while we wait for the big chop, Lucy would love to raise some money to donate along with her beautiful locks.
