From first-timers to seasoned drivers - all are welcome. Enjoy a mix of dirt tracks and public roads, designed for fun, challenge and connection.
Fully Hosted, Fully Catered
Seven epic days expertly planned. We handle the logistics, meals and nightly entertainment so you can relax and enjoy the ride.

Travel with a dedicated support crew, including experienced medics and recovery teams, ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Beyond the Beaten Track
Access remote tracks and unique experiences you simply can’t reach on your own. This is premium 4WD adventuring, done properly.
What it Costs
Entry Fee
A $500 (ex GST) Entry Fee is required per car. This secures your spot in the event and is non-refundable.
Provisions Fee
Variety manages and books all accommodation, meals, activities, merchandise, car signage, photography and entertainment. As a guide, the 2025 Provisions Fee was $4,100 (inc GST) for two people.
We'll advise the exact fee amount closer to the event. Single-entry fees are available upon request.

First instalment: $1,500 (inc GST) per car, payable by 31 October or within 14 days of registration if registered after 1 October.
- Remaining balance by 1 February.
Minimum Fundraising:
In addition to your Entry and Provisions Fees, a minimum of $3,000 must be fundraised or donated to Variety prior to the start of the event. All donations above $2 are tax-deductible and Variety will issue tax invoices for all donations received. Refer to our Resources page for tips on how to fundraise and reach your target.
Additional Costs
Additional costs such as fuel, mechanical repairs, refreshments and all other out-of-pocket expenditures are at your own expense.
Car and Essential Equipment
Your car: To attend a Variety 4WD Adventure your 4WD vehicle must be fully registered, road worthy and insured. Your vehicle must be equipped with low range.
Essential Equipment: UHF radio, towing capabilities and strap. A full list of requirements will be available when the event registrations are open.

Our events raise funds to empower kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disabilities to live without limits. Variety are only able to do this important work thanks to the generosity of our incredible community, including our 4WD Adventurers.
