Why I’m Riding for Variety: Giving Every Child a Fair Go

Tuesday 20th Aug A friend told me the Variety Postie Bike Dash is a lot of fun and a great way to make a difference. With my own experience of losing my parents and growing up as an only child, I know how important it is for every kid to have a fair go.I’m taking part in this event to help raise at least $2500 for Variety - the Children's Charity, supporting kids who need it most.I’m sharing my fundraising efforts on social media and in person, and any support you can give will go directly to helping these kids get the opportunities they deserve.Thank you for your generosity—it means a lot! Tuesday 20th Aug When I first heard about the Variety Postie Bike Dash, I knew it was something I had to get behind. It’s more than just a ride; it’s a ripper way to make a real difference for kids doing it tough.Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT is out there every day, helping kids and families across the country. Whether it's getting them the gear they need, providing therapy, or giving scholarships, they’re making sure every kid has a fair crack at life. That’s something that really resonates with me, so I’m jumping on the Postie bike and joining the Dash.Riding a Postie bike through some of Australia’s best backroads is going to be an adventure, but knowing that every kilometre is helping a great cause makes it even better. This isn’t just about raising a few bucks—it’s about giving kids the opportunities they deserve.I’ve set up a fundraising page to make it easy for anyone who wants to chip in. Every dollar counts and goes straight to Variety, helping them keep doing what they do best. If you can sling a few bucks their way, it’d mean the world to me and make a huge difference for the kids.Even if you’re not in a spot to donate, you can still lend a hand by spreading the word.
