Event Information
Everything you need to know about the 2026 Variety Backyard Bash
Where We're Going
The Backyard Bash is a relaxed, fully supported driving adventure through regional NSW, created for anyone who wants to explore great towns, meet good people and make a real difference for kids.
Over six days, you’ll travel through major regional centres and welcoming local communities, with time to enjoy the places you visit, support local businesses and connect with the people who make each stop special.
Whether you’re a long-time Basher or joining Variety on the road for the first time, this is your chance to be part of an unforgettable experience with plenty of heart, purpose and fun.
What makes the Backyard Bash different
The Backyard Bash is designed with intention:
- More time in towns – walk the main streets, meet locals and support small businesses
- Regional impact focus – prioritising communities that support us year after year
- Accessible route – start and finish locations designed for ease of participation
- Thoughtful distances – allowing time to experience each destination, not just pass through
This is a new experience for 2026 that keeps our community moving forward and giving back.
